I grew up in the country with limited resources but a diversity of experiences and an abundance of imagination. From childhood my urge to create art was intrinsically wound into my personality, as much my love of nature and learning. As a young person I believed I needed to excel in one style or medium to be called an artist. As a result I was constantly disheartened when I failed to stick to one thing. Through experience I have learned I’m now happy to identify as an eclectic, slightly eccentric, hoarder nomad in a world of possibilities. Because, when you recognise something so important to your happiness it shouldn’t be made smaller to fit expectations.
